We Are Philanthro Seattle
Our goal is to get young professionals involved in philanthropy. All of us in Philanthro are young professionals, volunteering to drive conversation, interest and action between those in need and our peers.
We are one chapter in the national 501(c)(3) non-profit, Philanthro. Outside of Seattle, you can find us in LA, San Francisco, San Diego and New York.
And We Throw Awesome Events
In Philanthro, we want everyone to realize that philanthropy can be fun and that everyone can make a difference. One way we do that is by creating events that are unique and meaningful, while still being accessible and enjoyable. Some events we held last year:
Art show at Vermillion on Capitol Hill (100% donated art and performances all night) for Lifelong AIDS Alliance
Environmental Conservation and Clean Up in Fall City with King Conservation District
400+ attendance black light party at the Hard Rock Cafe for YMCA Young Adult Services
